Single-use plastic takes 400+ years to degrade. Squeeze PET bottles, remove non-recyclable foil sleeves, and bundle thin plastic pouches together.
📦 Paper & Cardboard
Flatten cardboard boxes to save space in collection vehicles. Soiled pizza boxes or wax-coated paper cannot be recycled and must go to general waste.
🍾 Glass Disposal
Glass is 100% recyclable infinitely. Keep broken glass safely wrapped in thick paper to prevent injury to sanitation staff during handling.
🔩 Metals & Scrap
Aluminum cans, steel tins, and copper wires have high scrap recovery value. Crush aluminum beverage cans to optimize storage volume.
